Kill Bragging

Kill Bragging is a lightweight, highly customizable World of Warcraft PvP addon that automatically announces your honorable kills and assists to the chat channel of your choice.

Never let another victory go unnoticed! Whether you're grinding Battlegrounds, skirmishing in Arenas, or dominating World PvP, Kill Bragging tracks your combat log to ensure every enemy that falls by your hand is publicly humiliated.

⚔️ Core Features

• Smart Kill Detection: Automatically detects when you land a killing blow on an enemy player.
• Assist Tracking: Didn't get the final hit? No problem! The addon passively tracks your recent combat damage. If an enemy dies within 15 seconds of you damaging them, you still get the credit!
• Party Synchronization: If multiple players with the addon hit the same target, the addon intelligently scrambles a micro-delay so only one person triggers the announcement, preventing chat spam in group PvP.
• Solo vs. Party Announcements: Bragging rights are automatically segregated! If you get a solo kill, the addon triggers your Solo message list. If you had help from party members, it dynamically triggers your Party message list.
• Advanced Target Level Caching: The standard WoW API hides enemy levels in the combat log, but Kill Bragging outsmarts it. It silently memorizes the level of every enemy you mouseover, target, or see a nameplate for, guaranteeing near-perfect level callouts on every kill.
• Universal Game Compatibility: Designed to support and run seamlessly on modern Retail, Anniversary, Classic Era, and Progression servers.

💬 Custom Bragging & Dynamic Tags

Build your own custom dictionary of randomized, brutal bragging lines! Use our dynamic tags to automatically slot in the victim's details.

Available Formatting Tags:

• {victimname} - Inserts the victim's name (e.g. [Beefcake])
• {victimlevel} - Inserts the victim's level (e.g. 70)
• {victimrace} - Inserts the victim's race (e.g. Orc)
• {victimclass} - Inserts the victim's class (e.g. Warrior)
• {victiminfo} - Combines the victim's Level, Race, and Class (e.g. Level 70 Orc Warrior)
• {all} - Combines {victiminfo} & {victimname} (e.g. Level 70 Orc Warrior [Beefcake])
• {killers} - Dynamically lists who helped with the kill (e.g. [Me] or [Me], [Alice], and [Bob])

Example Setup:

"{victimname} stood no chance against {killers}."
Translates to: "[Thrall] stood no chance against [Me] and [Bob]."

⚙️ Configuration & Commands

Type /kb or /killbrag in-game to open the Configuration UI!

From the modern, stylized layout menu you can:

• Configure Broadcast Channels: Choose exactly where your announcements go with a single click (GUILD, PARTY, RAID, SAY, or YELL).
• Toggle Zones: Enable or disable bragging inside instanced Battlegrounds and Arenas.
• Auto-Fart & Lifetime Stat Tracking: Optional toxicity at its finest! Enable "Auto-Fart" to automatically drop a custom /fart emote on your victims the moment they die. The addon permanently tracks your lifetime farts and proudly displays your high score in the emote! (Example: Xunem brushes up against Beefcake and farts loudly. (Lifetime farts: 42))
• Write Custom Messages: Easily add, edit, or remove your randomized announcement lines for both Solo and Party kills.
• Live Testing: Fire a perfectly formatted "Test Announce" directly from the UI to ensure your formatting tags are working flawlessly before you head into combat.
