Installation

CurseForge

Download from CurseForge or use the CurseForge/Wago addon manager for automatic updates.

Manual Installation

1. Download the latest release
2. Extract the BetterStackSplitter folder to your World of Warcraft addons directory:
   • Windows: World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\
   • Mac: World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/
3. Restart World of Warcraft or reload your UI with /reload

Usage

Basic Stack Splitting

1. Shift + Left Click on any stackable item in your bags, bank, or guild bank
2. Use the custom interface to select how many items per stack:
   • Click the left/right arrow buttons to adjust
   • Use the mouse wheel to scroll through values
   • Type a number directly to set the exact amount
   • Press arrow keys for fine adjustments
3. Choose your action:
   • Split Once - Splits one stack of the specified size
   • Auto-Split - Automatically splits the entire stack into multiple stacks of the specified size

Guild Bank Splitting

• Works the same as regular bags - just Shift + Left Click an item in the guild bank
• Auto-split will distribute items across available guild bank slots
• Note: Guild bank operations are slightly slower due to server communication requirements

Vendor Purchases

When purchasing stackable items from vendors:

• Set the desired stack size
• Buy Once - Purchase a single stack
• Buy Stacks - Purchase multiple full stacks (limited by bag space)
