GuildWatch

What It Does

GuildWatch is a single panel that aggregates everything you'd otherwise need 4-5 addons for: real-time guild map, profession sync (including enchanting, which most addons skip), guild bank dashboard with gold flow tracking, class composition, day-over-day activity feed, and personal notes per guildmate.

Auto-syncs across all guildmates running the addon. No external servers, no accounts, no setup — install and it just works.

The Panel

Five tabs along the bottom:

• Roster — every guildmate as a row with class icon, level, zone, and all 5 profession slots (2 primary + First Aid, Cooking, Fishing) with tier-colored rank text. Click left to pan the world map to them; click right to edit a personal note. Chip filters: All / ±5 lvl / ±10 lvl / 60+ / 70+ / Online.
• Bank — guild bank dashboard with gold balance, 7d/30d/all-time repair totals, net flow, top 12 depositors + withdrawers, tab progression with cost-to-next-tab progress bar. Officer-only log data syncs to non-officers.
• Composition — class breakdown with online/offline split, profession tier columns (I-V), and level distribution chart. Useful when raid planning kicks in.
• News — chronological feed of guild events: level-ups, profession skill-ups, recipe learns, joins/leaves, bank money flow, and guild bank item movements. Recipe links are tooltip-able.
• Info — Message of the Day, About text, and recent joins/leaves.

Map Pins

Live class-icon (or class-color dot) pins on world map and minimap for every guildmate broadcasting their position. Customizable scale per surface, configurable hide-when-in-instance/party/raid filters.

Live Position for Party/Raid (v0.1.7+) — When grouped with a guildmate, their pin polls UnitPosition at 10Hz locally and tracks the native party dot in real time instead of lagging behind the 3-second broadcast cycle. Zero comm overhead.

Day-Over-Day Tracking

Daily snapshots of every guildmate's level + profession ranks + bank balance. On login you get a chat summary of what changed since you last played. The News tab is the long-form view.

Enchanter Visibility

Most profession-sync addons hook only the TradeSkill API, which silently skips enchanters because TBC enchanting uses the legacy Craft API. GuildWatch handles both, so your guild's enchanters actually show up in profession searches.

Slash Commands

• /gw — show the panel (last active tab)
• /gw bank — open the panel on the Bank tab
• /gw composition — open the panel on the Composition tab
• /gw news — open the panel on the News tab
• /gw info — open the panel on the Info tab
• /gw options — open the options dialog
• /gw find <recipe> — search guild crafters for a recipe
• /gw status — show library wiring + addon state
• /gw minimap — toggle the minimap button
• /gw debug — toggle verbose comm logging
• /gw resync — rebroadcast your profession data

Options dialog also accessible via the gear icon at the top-right of the panel.

Requirements

• WoW Classic, Burning Crusade Anniversary (Interface 20505 / 2.5.5+).
• No external dependencies — Ace3, HereBeDragons, LibSerialize, LibDeflate, LibDataBroker, and LibDBIcon are all embedded.

Privacy

GuildWatch only shares data within your guild over standard WoW addon-message channels (GUILD and WHISPER). No external servers, no analytics. No data leaves your guild.

Status

Active development on the Alpha channel — frequent releases adding polish and features. Core sync layer is mature and tested in production guilds. Enable the alpha channel in your addon manager (CurseForge, WoWUp, etc.) to receive updates as they ship.
