Friend Finder replaces the tiny default party dots on the World Map, Minimap, Zone Map, and Flight Map with large, easy-to-see portraits. Built with accessibility in mind, it makes finding your friends, party members, and yourself on the map effortless, especially for players with low vision or anyone who's ever squinted at a continent map trying to spot a 5-pixel dot.

What it does:

• Replaces default party/raid dots with real Blizzard portrait textures on Minimap, World Map, Zone Map, and Flight Map.
• Automatically scales portraits by map tier: large on World and Continent views, balanced on Zone maps, compact in dungeons, no manual switching required.
•  Adds class-colored borders, optional glows, and a facing arrow so you can identify any portrait at a glance.
• Provides a full in-game settings window, no slash commands or config files needed (but /ff works if you want).
• Click any party portrait to ping their live location, with a floating compass arrow that follows them across zones and continents.
  
  

Customizations

1. Profile Images — Real Blizzard portraits for player and party.
2. Borders — Multiple border styles, faction-aware coloring.
3. Glows — Class colors, faction colors, or fixed colors (red, green, yellow, etc). State-aware option auto-switches the glow color when a unit enters combat, drops below 35% HP, gains aggro, or goes AFK.
4. Facing Arrow — Directional dots or faction crest under your portrait showing the way you're facing on the map.
5. Custom Profile Icons — Save and switch between 2600 customization sets.
6. State-aware coloring — At a glance, you can tell who's in combat, who's low on HP, and who's idle.
7. Click-to-Ping — Left-click a party/raid portrait to ping their location. A floating compass arrow points the way with live distance, color-coded by range (green/yellow/red), and a closer/farther trend indicator. Five arrow styles including a 3D perspective arrow. Tracks targets live across zones and continents. Drag the arrow anywhere on screen. Personal pingn only you see it.
8. Hide My Icon — Optionally hide your OWN portrait so Blizzard's native player arrow shows through. Per-profile setting.
9. Nameplates tab — under Customizations with a single checkbox to show/hide the name labels under party/raid portraits across all surfaces (World Map, Minimap, Zone Map, Flight Map). Includes a Font picker with 9 options.
10.  Profiles tab — each toon remembers its own active profile. Create, save, reset, import/export, and delete profiles.
11. *New* Class Dots -  Prefer the classic dot look over portraits? This render mode shows each player and party/raid pin as a clean round dot tinted with that unit's class color — the familiar classic feel, just scalable and color-coded so you can still tell classes apart at a glance.
