Shaman Buff Reminder

Shaman Buff Reminder is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon designed to help Shamans keep their important shields and buffs active before pulling.

The addon only checks your buffs while you are out of combat. As soon as combat starts, the reminder frame automatically hides and the addon stops checking buffs. This prevents false alerts caused by aura updates during combat, especially in Mythic+ groups.

It is especially useful for Restoration Shamans who want a clean pre-pull checklist without adding clutter during fights.

How It Works

Shaman Buff Reminder checks your selected buffs while you are out of combat.

If something is missing, the addon displays a small reminder frame listing the missing buffs. Once everything is active, the frame disappears automatically.

When combat starts, the addon hides itself and stops checking. This makes it perfect for pre-pull preparation without distracting you during combat.

Mythic+ / Group Support

The addon includes a Mythic+ safe mode for Water Shield and Lightning Shield detection.

Some aura checks can behave differently in small group dungeon instances. To avoid false warnings, Shaman Buff Reminder includes a fallback system designed specifically for Mythic+ and party content.

You can open the options panel with:

Slash Commands

Open the options window.

/sbr unlock
Unlock the reminder frame and move it.

/sbr lock
Lock the reminder frame.

/sbr reset
Reset the frame position.

/sbr sound
Enable or disable sound reminders.

/sbr hideok
Toggle hiding the frame when all buffs are active.

/sbr combat
Toggle disabling the addon in combat.

/sbr mplus
Toggle Mythic+ safe mode for Water Shield / Lightning Shield.

/sbr test
Toggle test mode.

Recommended Use

Before starting a dungeon, raid, or Mythic+ key, make sure the frame is hidden. If it is hidden, all required buffs are active.

Once combat begins, the addon automatically hides and stops checking until combat ends.
