TomoSync

Track your items across all your characters — bags, bank, and reagent bank — displayed directly in item tooltips.

Features

Automatic Item Tracking TomoSync silently scans your inventory in the background and saves the data per character. Every time you log in, open your bank, or move items around, the database updates automatically — no manual intervention needed.

Multi-Character Tooltip Display Hover over any item and TomoSync adds a breakdown at the bottom of the tooltip showing how many of that item each of your characters owns, and where they are stored.

For your current character, each location is shown on its own line:

Reagent:  12
Bags:      2

For your other characters, a compact summary is shown:

Total:                              181

Tracked Locations

• Bags — backpack and all equipped bag slots
• Bank — main bank slot and all equipped bank bags
• Reagent Bank — scanned automatically when you visit the bank
• Equipped — items currently worn (optional, disabled by default)

Grand Total A total line at the bottom of the tooltip sums up all characters, giving you an instant account-wide count.

Installation

1. Download the latest release.
2. Extract the TomoSync folder into your World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/ directory.
3. Reload the game or enable the addon at the character selection screen.

Usage

Configuration

Open the settings panel with /tms or /tomosync.

The panel also provides a Force scan button to manually refresh your bag data, and a Clear all data button to wipe the entire database.

Compatibility

• Retail (The War Within) — Interface 120000 / 120001
• Standalone — does not require TomoMod to function
• Compatible with the TomoMod addon suite

How Data is Stored

TomoSync stores all item data locally in SavedVariables (TomoSyncDB). Data is organized by realm and character name. Nothing is sent to any server — all tracking is done entirely client-side.

Each character's data is updated only when you are logged in on that character. Data from characters you have not logged into recently will reflect the last time you played them.

Notes

• The reagent bank is only scanned when you physically visit the bank. If your reagent bank data looks outdated, simply open your bank to refresh it.
• The bank is only scanned when you open it. If you transferred items from another device or session, open the bank once to update the count.
• Characters are tracked per realm. Cross-realm data is available but can be hidden via the Same realm only option.
