Custom Item Highlight

This is an addon designed to improve visual organization and gear management for Classic Era and Season of Discovery. It allows you to apply persistent, custom-colored highlight rings to specific items in your bags, making it easy to identify different equipment sets, consumables, or profession items at a glance.

In-Game Configuration (/cih):

• Type /cih to open the configuration panel to manage your color palette. Add or remove as many colors as you'd like.
• Press Alt + Right Click on any item in your bags to cycle through your defined highlight colors.

Key Features

Season of Discovery Optimized:

• The addon successfully differentiates between two identical pieces of gear that have different Engraved Runes or different Shoulder Enchants (e.g., Soul of the Misleader vs. Lethal Lasher) applied.
• By tracking unique item GUIDs, it ensures you never accidentally equip the wrong version of a duplicate item.

Bagnon Integration:

• Specifically engineered to work seamlessly with both the default Blizzard interface and Bagnon.
• Highlight rings automatically scale and snap to Bagnon’s item slots, maintaining a clean aesthetic regardless of your bag layout or scale settings.

Important Notes

Highlights are tied to the physical item's unique serial number (GUID), ensuring the color stays on that specific piece of gear even if moved between bag slots or duplicates are present. If you delete, sell, or disenchant an item, its specific highlight data is automatically removed from the database.
