BetterBags - Stat Categories

BetterBags - Stat Categories is a plugin for BetterBags that automatically sorts your gear into categories based on their primary stat and equipment slot.

Items are categorised into groups like "Strength - One-Hand", "Intellect - Chest", or "Agility - Legs", making it easy to see at a glance which pieces of gear you're carrying for each stat across every slot.

How It Works

For items that carry multiple primary stats, such as Demon Hunter warglaives with both Agility and Intellect, the plugin checks your current specialization and assigns the item to whichever stat your spec actually uses. When you switch specs, all affected items are automatically re-evaluated and moved to the correct categories.

Items without a primary stat (rings, trinkets, or necklaces with only secondary stats like Haste or Crit) are left alone and fall through to BetterBags' default categorisation.

Configuration

Open the BetterBags settings (/bb → Plugins) to find the Stat Categories config panel. From there you can toggle individual equipment slots on or off, or use the Toggle All checkbox to enable/disable everything at once. Disabled slots will use BetterBags' default categories instead.
