Universal Transmog Button is a plugin for RCLootCouncil that makes sure you get a chance to roll on items for their transmog appearance — even ones you'd normally autopass on.
The Problem
With RCLootCouncil's autopass feature, items your class can't equip for combat are automatically hidden. But what if you could still learn the transmog appearance? Those items silently pass by and you never even see them. You can configure RCLootCouncil to not auto-pass on items, but the raider will get the chance to vote with all buttons, this can cause confusion and makes it difficult to filter as a ML when sombody accedently pressed Biss or other buttons!
The Solution
This addon watches for autopassed items and checks whether you can learn their appearance. If you can learn the transmog and you don't already know it, the item pops back up — but only with the designated transmog button(s) and a pass button visible. No accidental main-spec rolls, no clutter. Just a clean way to pick up appearances you're missing.
How It Works (For Raiders)
Just install it and go. When loot drops, the addon automatically handles everything behind the scenes:
- Items you'd normally autopass are checked for learnable transmog appearances.
- If you can learn the look, the item is shown to you with only the transmog roll option.
- If you already know the appearance, nothing changes — it stays autopassed as usual.
No configuration needed on your end.
How It Works (For Master Looters)
- Open RCLootCouncil options (
/rc config). - Go to ML Settings → Buttons.
- You'll see a new "Is Transmog Button" checkbox next to each button in every button group (default, per-slot-type, etc.).
- Check the box on whatever button(s) you want designated for transmog rolls (e.g., a "Transmog" button).
- That's it — the settings are automatically shared with everyone in the raid.
You can set up different transmog buttons for different slot types if you want, or just use the defaults. Everything syncs through RCLootCouncil's built-in systems.
