A magnificent new addition to players’ mount collections is coming in the 12.1.5 content update, and we’ve got all the details for you here. When 12.1.5 releases, you’ll find the Sporebearer Fungal Strider for sale in Harandar for 5 Million gold. This rideable beast will include a mailbox, a repair vendor, and a novel utility – for the first time, players will be able to customize the NPCs who are available on the mount when the mount is summoned. A vendor in Harandar will sell you access to the additional, interchangeable NPCs, including NPCs such as an auctioneer or a transmogrifier. We’re also considering adding additional mount NPCs in future patches. Players who collect more NPCs than the mount can hold at a time will be able to switch them in and out by speaking to an NPC in Harandar. The Sporebearer Fungal Strider mount will only be available for purchase until the end of World of Warcraft: Midnight, however, the purchase of and access to the interchangeable NPCs will remain available indefinitely.
