Built for Classic Era and now works with BCC Anniversary 

Shows whispers as popup chat bubbles with lots of optionals and keeps in history until dismissed. 
If not dismissed they persist through logouts and exits (no missed whispers if the game closes before you saw them)

Features:

• Incoming whispers appear as chat bubbles on screen, simply right click on the bubble to dismiss it, shift-left click to reply or alt-left click to invite to party.

• Optionals to show timestamps, class, race, realm and level on the bubble to make forming groups a bit easier.

• Bubbles are grouped by sender for easy conversation tracking.

• AFK mode you can toggle so bubbles only appear while you are away. 

• Whisper history is saved for undismissed messages so if you AFK too long and get logged out you will see all your missed messages when you log back in.

• Automatic resizing for different message lengths.

• Supports the Twitch Emotes addon if you have it installed

• Choose between 18 themes along with the option to use the default wow whisper colour or add a wow-style border to keep it more wow-like.

• Adjustable bubble width and font sizes via the options panel.

• 3D portraits of the player in each bubble (can be disabled in options if you prefer standard class icons or want to use the supplied custom icons)

• Zero dependencies, runs on it's own with no extra libs required.

• Animation options for when bubbles appear, optional glow to show unreplied messages, 

Commands

/nchat for a list of commands

/nchat lock    - Toggle the frame lock/unlock so it can be moved
/nchat theme - [dark/ios/light] - Switch theme instantly without going through the options menu
/nchat reset - Restore default settings
/nchat refresh - Force manual friend-status refresh if the AFK/Online/Offline indicators are not updating for some reason
/nchat AFK - enables/disables AFK mode so whisper bubbles only appear while AFK

I am aware of some buggy behaviour with 3D portraits. Sometimes they don't show due to scaling bugs when the game resolution is in off-native sizes in windowed mode.
Battlenet behaviour is also buggy and you will notice undismissed messages will appear to be from someone else on fresh login after some time. Battlenet friends are hard to deal with as they are not technically classed as players in the game and I may remove them in future updates.

I am also aware of a swatter error popping up in some cases on a fresh login, this is something that doesn't seem to be fixable at the moment as it's due to a change Blizzard have recently made but it doesn't actually affect any functions.
