  🧠 Big Brain Crafting - User Guide

  Big Brain Crafting (BBC) is a dynamic, all-in-one assistant for your WoW Professions. It combines step-by-step profession leveling guides, automated Auction House pricing, and advanced TomTom routing.

  The Main Interface

  1. Open the Addon: Click the glowing golden anvil Minimap Button or type /bbc.
  2. Select a Profession: Choose any gathering or crafting profession (e.g., Alchemy, Herbalism, Blacksmithing) from the left-hand column.
  3. View the Guide: The top-right panel will display the exact items or nodes you need to target to level up your skill brackets, along with the Zones they are located in.
  4. Check the Shopping List: The bottom-right panel automatically tallies up the total raw materials required to complete the guide steps based on your current profession bracket!

  Advanced TomTom Routing Strategy

  If you have GatherMate2 and TomTom installed, Big Brain Crafting becomes an incredible automated farming tool.

  1. Enable Routing: Ensure the "Routes (TomTom)" checkbox at the top of the window is checked.
  2. Select a Routing Strategy: Open the Options menu (the button to the right of the red 'Options' header button) and scroll to the bottom. Choose your logic:
     • Circular TSP: Builds a stable, looping circle around the zone (Best for continuous farming).
     • Clustered Sweep: Groups nodes together by region before moving you to the next region.
     • Greedy Nearest-Neighbor: Always points you to the closest single node, creating a fast straight line but often leaving you zig-zagging.
  3. Generate the Route: Click the red "Route" button next to a node grouping in the Guide panel (e.g., Peacebloom / Silverleaf). BBC will instantly calculate the best path through your GatherMate2 database and drop an active TomTom arrow on your screen pointing you exactly where to fly!
  4. Node Cooldowns: As you physically arrive at waypoints, BBC dynamically marks those nodes as "Looted" and puts them on a hidden 10-15 minute cooldown timer so it won't route you back to empty spawns until they actually respawn!

  Addon Setup Options

  Click the "Options" button at the top of the BBC frame to customize your experience.

  • Cycle Font: Instantly swaps all addon text between Friz Quadrata (Classic WoW), Arial Narrow, and Morpheus styles.
  • Cycle Theme: Swaps the background parchment textures of the UI panels (Translucent Black, Blood Red, Alliance Blue, Gold).
  • Price Source Priority: Tell Big Brain Crafting whether to prioritize TradeSkillMaster (TSM) or Auctionator API data when pricing out the raw materials in your bottom-right Shopping List. If one addon is missing data, BBC will gracefully fall back to the other!
