WT (W1LD Tools)

WT (W1LD Tools) is a modular UI and engine tweak collection for World of Warcraft.

It integrates its searchable and reorganized configuration menu natively into the Blizzard Settings API. It is structured to comply with modern API standards, specifically addressing UI taint issues related to WoW 12.0+ "Secret Value" restrictions.

Features are separated into 13 core modules that can be toggled independently, allowing you to load only the functions you need.

🖼️ Windows & UI

• Movable Windows: Move and scale native WoW frames (Character, LFG, Settings, Map, etc.) using modifier keys and the mouse wheel. Reset position (Right-Click) or scale (Middle-Click).
• Movable Alerts: Reposition the spawn anchors for loot, achievement, Battle.net toasts, and system error messages.
• System Errors: Hide error messages or add a background panel that groups duplicate messages.
• Element Hider: Declutter your screen by hiding the XP/Rep bar, Bags bar, Talking Head, and Tutorial HelpTips (with an optional exception for unspent Talent alerts).
• Combat Cleaner: Automatically hides the quest tracker and minimap cluster while in combat for a cleaner view.
• Class Colors: Globally override and customize the native WoW class colors for all your UI elements and supported third-party addons.
• Camera & Visuals: Increases the maximum camera zoom distance, enables the engine sharpening filter, and provides toggles to disable the low health flash, fullscreen glow, and death effects.
• Combat Cursor: Highlights the cursor with customizable shapes, trails, click animations, and colors. Can be shown permanently or only in combat.

⚡ Action Bars

• Action Triggers: Cast spells on key down and colorize buttons red when out of range.
• Clean Text: Customize or hide Macro and Hotkey texts. Shortens keybind labels (e.g., 'Mouse Button 4' to 'M4').
• Cooldowns: Replace native Blizzard numbers, desaturate icons while on cooldown, colorize the swipe spirals/edges, or hide native numbers to prevent overlapping with external cooldown addons.
• Addon Integrations: Support for external skin engines to skin default action bars and bags.
• Vehicle Protection: Prevents the vehicle leave button from becoming invisible.

👤 Character Sheet & Inspect

• Item Levels: Displays the individual and overall average item level on your equipped gear and inspect frames, colorized by 8 distinct item rarities (from Poor to Heirloom).
• Durability: Overlays the exact durability percentage on your items (can be set to only show when damaged).
• Smart Positioning: Independently position texts using a 6-way anchor system with automatic offset logic to prevent overlapping.
• Customization: Independent font sizes, outlines, and customizable background panels for both displays.

👻 HUD Fader & 🏷️ Nameplates

• HUD Fader: Fade out action bars, bags, micro menus, and status trackers when out of combat or not hovered.
• HUD Scaling & Linking: Scale HUD elements individually and link multiple action bars so they fade in and out simultaneously.
• Smart Nameplates: Toggles enemy nameplates automatically based on combat state.
• Nameplate Colors: Apply class colors in PvP, and highlight Casters or Elite/Boss enemies.
• Threat Colors: Colorizes NPC nameplates based on threat/aggro (adjusts automatically for tanks).
• Stacking: Adjust the vertical overlap distance of stacked nameplates.
• Target Highlights: Adds scaling and customizable borders to the current target's nameplate.
• Quest Indicator: Shows a quest icon on nameplates required for active quests.

💰 Loot, Inventory & Vendors

• Fast Looting: Speeds up auto-looting by removing the UI delay.
• Loot Under Mouse: Opens the loot window directly at your cursor.
• Junk Seller: Sells grey items at vendors automatically (protects your saved Equipment Sets) and plays an optional sound. Uses a smart queue to handle server lag perfectly.
• Auto-Repair: Repairs equipment automatically, prioritizing Guild Bank funds, and plays an optional sound. Features an intelligent retry-system to counter server delay.

⚙️ Automation & Quality of Life

• Auto-Keystone: Inserts Mythic+ keystones automatically when the receptacle is opened.
• Combat Resurrection: Accepts battle resurrections automatically in PvE environments.
• Easy Delete: Bypasses the need to type "DELETE" when destroying items.
• Auto Summon Pet: Summons a random favorite pet (or specific named pets) if none is active. Pauses in combat and stealth.
• Auto Dismount/Stand: Dismounts and stands up automatically when casting spells.
• Auto Reputation: Automatically switches the tracked reputation bar to the faction you just gained rep with.
• Memory & Engine Optimizations: Includes object-pooling for animations (0 bytes memory leak), upvaluing, throttling, and event-driven updates to completely eliminate frame drops and CPU overhead.
• Custom Media: Register and inject your own custom fonts, statusbars, sounds, backgrounds, borders, and highlight textures into the addon via the CustomMedia.lua file.
• Minimap Button: Provides quick access to options, UI reloads, debug logs, memory/CPU usage stats, and quick-toggles for features like Auto-GZ.
• Settings Search: A search bar in the options menu to find settings and navigate to them.

🔊 Audio & Mutes

• Audio Routing: All custom sounds (Logins, LFG, Guild Achievements, Whispers, Custom Channels) can be routed through your preferred audio channel (Master, SFX, Dialog, Music, Ambience).
• Smart Muting: Suppresses native Blizzard UI sounds whenever you assign a custom sound to an event (e.g., Guild Logins, LFG Alerts).
• Custom Mutes: A global sound blacklist. Enter specific FileDataIDs to silence specific sound effects in the game.
• Sound Debugger: Includes a developer tool (/wt debug sound) to log the IDs of any sound currently playing in the game.

📖 Questing & Story

• Auto-Questing: Automatically accepts and turns in quests.
• Fast Questing: Hold SHIFT to skip NPC dialogs and accept/turn in quests.
• Smart Gossip: Skips NPC gossip if only one option is available and highlights quest lines in dialogs with custom colors for better visibility.
• Cinematic Skipper: Automatically skips in-game cutscenes and pre-rendered movies.

🗺️ Maps & Navigation

• Minimap Zoom: Enables smooth zooming of the minimap via the mouse wheel, with an optional auto-reset delay.
• Smart Map Fade: Applies an adjustable transparency to the world map while your character is moving.
• Coordinates: Displays movable player and cursor coordinates on the world map.

⚔️ Group & LFG Management

• Group Management: Auto-accept invites, role checks, and summons; block duels and pet battles.
• LFG Enhancements: Displays Faction Icons and Country/Realm Flags in the Group Finder, and optionally plays audio alerts when new players apply to your listing.

💬 Chat & Social

• Visual Tweaks: Global class colors, hide server names, display player levels directly in chat, hide chat menu buttons, hide the QuickJoin button, disable text fading, and unclamp from the screen edge.
• Custom Backgrounds: Globally override the background color and opacity of all chat frames.
• EditBox Tweaks: Removes the default borders of the chat input box, allows positioning (top/bottom), adds a character counter, and lets you choose between a classic solid or modern gradient style.
• Input & Navigation: Clickable URLs (including automatic parsing of Raider.io/Wowhead links and raw ID strings), smooth mouse wheel scrolling, and arrow key navigation without holding ALT.
• History Keeper: Saves chat history and input history across game sessions, and restores temporary whisper/BNet tabs.
• Guild & Communities: Smart class-colored logins, Auto-GZ for achievements (toggleable via Minimap), audio alerts for guild achievements, show guild notes, and support for your own messages in Community/Lounge channels.
• Timestamps & Fonts: Customizable timestamps (format, brackets, colors) and globally overridable chat fonts.
• Filters & Highlights: Blacklist words (with strict word boundaries, wildcard support, and whitelist bypass for friends/guild), highlight specific keywords with sound alerts, and shorten channel names.
• Interactive Filters: Displays a [Blocked] notification for filtered messages, which can be restored via right-click.
• Custom Channels: Assign custom aliases, colors, and sounds to any standard or custom chat channel.

🔍 Tooltip Enhancements

• Player Info: Displays GearScore (average item level), Mythic+ rating, highest key, and PvP rating. Shows Target-of-Target, group targeting count, and active mounts.
• Visuals: Class-colored health bars (with the option to completely hide them) and names, custom Player/Level text styles (with faction icon attachment), Gender tags, Guild Ranks, Guild Brother highlights, Country Flags, and isolated Realm names.
• Item Info: Shows Expansion origins, Durability percentages, Material Trackers (bags/bank), Known Toy status, Learned status (recipes), and Quest Item warnings.
• Wowhead & Raider.io Integration: ALT-click an item, spell, achievement, quest, or player (in LFG/Chat) to generate a copyable Wowhead or Raider.io URL. Automatically converts raw IDs (item:123, player:Name-Realm) and database URLs in chat into clickable in-game links.
• NerdIDs: Displays internal database IDs for spells, items, currencies, quests, mounts, and NPCs (with granular toggles for each).
• Cursor Anchor: Optionally snaps the tooltip directly to your mouse cursor with custom offsets.
• Visibility: Hide unit tooltips while in combat or hide interaction hints (e.g., "Right click to…").
• Solid Backgrounds: Apply a solid background color, opacity, and custom borders to all tooltips globally (including the Minimap and Debug Log).

📊 Widgets & Trackers

• System Widget: On-screen display for FPS, Latency, and Memory usage with customizable labels.
• Time Widget: On-screen clock and date display with a layout preview mode.
• Combat Tracker: Displays active combat time and distance to the current target with a layout preview mode.
• Social Widget: On-screen tracker for online Guild members and Battle.net friends with a layout preview mode.
• Protected: Built with an intelligent anti-freeze architecture to prevent silent crashes during loading screens or API lags.

🔄 Profile Synchronization

• Import & Export: Share your addon configuration securely with friends or sync between your characters via optimized Base64 strings.

If you encounter any issues, Lua errors, or taints (ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED), please enable the built-in debug mode by typing /wt debug in your chat. This will provide you with a detailed error trace.
