Magic Prey

Magic Prey tracks Prey Hunts and surfaces the hunt state directly in your preferred LDB display addon — no extra windows, no cluttered UI.

What It Does

Prey Hunts cycle through four states as you close in on your target: Cold, Warm, Hot, and Found. Magic Prey exposes that state as a LibDataBroker data source, meaning it slots into whatever bar or panel you already use — Button Bin, ChocolateBar, Titan Panel, and so on — with colored text and a state-matching icon that updates in real time.

Leave the hunt area mid-chase? No problem. Magic Prey keeps showing your last known status and the zone name so you always know where you left off.

Open the tooltip and you'll find a breakdown of any active torments (prey modifiers) with full descriptions, so you know exactly what you're walking back into.

• Hide Blizzard tracker — optionally suppress the built-in prey crystal widget from the Encounter Bar
• Left-click — opens the World Map centered on the prey quest
• Right-click — opens addon settings in Interface Options

Requirements

• A LibDataBroker display addon such as Button Bin, ChocolateBar, or Titan Panel
• Minimap button support is included, but is more limited (icon + tooltip).
