SignalFire (Beta)

SignalFire is a modern group-finding, guild recruitment, and community networking addon built specifically for the Triumvirate 3.3.5 server. Originally developed as BronzeLFG for the Bronzebeard Ascension server, the project has since evolved into a dedicated platform, bringing tons of parser improvements, usability refinements, and community-driven features into a new home.

At its core, SignalFire automatically monitors public chat channels and intelligently parses recruitment and social activity into structured listings. Instead of constantly watching fast-moving chat channels, players can browse organized categories for dungeons, raids, guilds, events, keystones, leveling groups, RDF groups, and Looking For Group (LFG) requests through a searchable and filterable interface.

SignalFire is designed around the idea that group finding should be effortless. Whether you're forming a dungeon run, recruiting for a guild, looking for an invasion group, or simply trying to find other players interested in the same activity, SignalFire helps turn scattered chat messages into a live recruitment network.

Public Groups Browser

The Public Groups Browser automatically captures and categorizes recruitment activity from public chat channels.

Features include:

• Automatic detection of Dungeon, Raid, Keystone, Event, Guild Recruitment, LFG, and Social listings.

• Support for Vanilla, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King content.

• Recognition of Triumvirate-specific content, including RDF, Raids,  and Season 1 Mythic Keystone activities.

• Activity detection and normalization for common abbreviations and shorthand.

• Search, filtering, sorting, paging, and category visibility controls.

• Real-time listing updates and automatic expiration of stale entries.

• Clickable SignalFire recruitment links embedded directly into chat.

Rather than displaying raw chat messages whenever possible, SignalFire attempts to identify the actual activity being advertised and presents it in a cleaner, more readable format.

Guild Browser

SignalFire includes a dedicated Guild Browser that transforms guild advertisements into searchable recruitment profiles.

Features include:

• Automatic guild advertisement detection.

• Guild profile creation from recruitment messages.

• Recruitment focus and activity tag parsing.

• Search, filtering, and favorites.

• SignalFire Network integration.

• Discovery of active guilds through recruitment activity and optional network features.

Instead of guild advertisements disappearing into chat history, SignalFire provides a centralized location for players to browse and compare recruiting communities.

SignalFire includes an optional network layer that allows addon users to discover and interact with one another beyond traditional chat-based recruitment.

Unlike traditional LFG addons that require universal adoption, SignalFire works immediately by leveraging existing chat traffic while simultaneously providing enhanced functionality for users who install the addon.

This hybrid approach allows SignalFire to deliver value on day one while naturally becoming more useful as more players adopt it.
