NMO's Quest Tracker

This addon serves as a handy and helpful replacement for Blizzard's default objective tracker with a bunch of features!

While this is the 1.0 initial release, this is still a work in progress. Feel free to add comments with suggestions or issues you may be having.

Tracker Frame

• Draggable, resizable, scalable tracker window
• Collapsible tracker (hide quest list, keep header)
• Toggleable header bar
• Customizable frame scale, opacity, and border thickness
• Slim auto-hiding scrollbar
• Frame position and size saved per profile

Quest Display & Filtering

• Configurable maximum quest cap (1–25)
• Show/hide completed quests
• Auto-hide completed quests after a configurable delay
• Separate completed quests into their own pinned section (top or bottom)
• Collapse objectives automatically on completion
• Show delivery objectives even after a quest is complete
• Quest pinning — manually keep quests at the top of the list
• Super-track integration — highlights the currently arrow-tracked quest

Objectives

• Show/hide objectives under quest titles
• Objective Summary Mode — compact "X / Y complete" for multi-objective quests
• Gradient objective coloring — each objective colored by completion progress
• Class color mode for gradient coloring

Sorting & Grouping

• Sort by Distance or Name (A–Z), and ascending vs descending
• Group quests by category / zone with collapsible headers
• Quest count displayed in group headers

Content Type Support

Instance Objectives (Raids / Dungeons / M+ / Scenarios / Delves)

• Pinned at the top of the tracker when inside an instance
• Type-specific accent colors (gold for raids, cyan for dungeons, green for M+, purple for scenarios/delves)
• Boss status coloring: red (alive) · green (killed)
• Clicking a boss line opens the Encounter Journal to that instance
• Live raid member count displayed on the instance card (e.g. "Normal · 12")
• Scenario step timers displayed as live countdowns with urgency colors (white → orange → red)
• M+ weekly affix icons with tooltips

World Quests

• Show/hide tracked world quests
• Time-remaining indicator

Achievements

• Track/untrack achievements
• Progress objectives displayed

Recipes

• Tracked crafting recipes with reagent progress

Interaction

Side Quest Button (dot)

• Positioned left, right, or hidden
• Click to super-track; color reflects quest state and type

Inline Quest Item Button

• Small icon on quest row for quests with usable items

Floating Quest Item Button

• Separate draggable on-screen button
• Configurable size (20–80px)
• Two modes: follows super-tracked quest, or nearest quest with an item
• Keybind support with label shown on the button
• Position saved per profile

Group Finder Button

• Shown on group/raid quests — opens Premade Groups pre-filled with quest name

Snooze

• Temporarily hide a quest until the player changes major zones

Keybindings

• Configurable keybind for the floating quest item button
• Fully integrated with WoW's native Key Bindings UI

Minimap Button

• Left-click: open options; right-click: toggle tracker visibility
• Show/hide toggle saved per profile

TomTom Integration

• Optional auto-arrow pointing at nearest objective
• Auto-waypoint on quest click

Appearance

Colors (all fully customizable)

• Header title, quest titles, quest button, group headers
• Objective complete / incomplete colors
• Gradient start and end colors
• Background and border colors
• Instance title, separator, achievement, and recipe title colors
• Class color override available for any color setting

Fonts

• Separate font face, size, and outline for 6 text elements:
  • Tracker header, group headers, quest titles, objectives, instance title, instance objectives

Tooltips

• Quest hint text and lore description on hover
• XP, gold, and item reward preview
• Keybind hints
• Taint-safe positioning (never interferes with world map or area POI tooltips)
