Azeroth Event Manager
All-in-one Retail event tracking, routing, map pins, progress and event information.
Azeroth Event Manager is an all-in-one event companion for World of Warcraft Retail. It brings holiday tracking, micro-holiday information, event objectives, map pins, waypoint handling, faction-aware routing and per-character progress into one single addon.
Instead of using several separate addons for holidays, maps, checklists, waypoints, event notes and character tracking, Azeroth Event Manager is designed to bundle the full event workflow into one clean interface.
One Addon for Your Event Routine
World events often require different tools: one addon for coordinates, another for waypoints, another for tracking completed objectives, another for event information and another for map pins. Azeroth Event Manager combines these functions into one place.
The addon helps you see which events are active, which objectives are still open, where to go next and which rewards or event tasks are relevant for your character.
Core Features
Active Event Dashboard
The main window shows currently active events in a clear dashboard view. Active holidays, special events and micro-holidays are displayed with event icons, status information and tracking data.
You can quickly see:
- active events
- open objectives
- completed objectives
- selected zone
- selected target
- distance to the current target
- tracking status
- manual or automatic target mode
Automatic Event Tracking
Azeroth Event Manager can automatically select the next relevant objective and set a Blizzard waypoint for it. The tracking system is designed to keep your route moving without constantly opening external guides or manually searching for coordinates.
Automatic tracking can be paused, resumed or overridden with a manual target.
Manual Target Selection
Need to visit a specific target first? You can manually select an objective from the dashboard or by interacting with an AEM map pin. The addon then switches to manual tracking and keeps that target active until you clear it or resume automatic tracking.
Stronger Waypoint Control
AEM uses Blizzard’s in-game waypoint system and can restore its own marker if another addon or manual waypoint replaces it while tracking is active. This helps keep your event route stable even when other addons interact with the map.
Faction-Aware Data
The addon filters objectives based on your character’s faction. Alliance characters should not be sent to Horde-only objectives, and Horde characters should not be sent to Alliance-only objectives. Neutral objectives remain available to both factions.
Per-Character Progress
Progress is handled per character and per event occurrence. If one character has already completed or looted an event objective, AEM can hide that objective for that character while keeping it available for your other characters.
Event progress is not meant to permanently block future yearly events. When the event returns in a later year, the addon can treat it as a fresh event cycle.
Retail Holiday Data
Azeroth Event Manager focuses on Retail event data. It is not intended for Classic, Season of Discovery or old event versions.
Current major supported event data includes:
- Hallow’s End
- Midsummer Fire Festival
- Lunar Festival
- Brewfest
- Winter Veil
- Pilgrim’s Bounty
- Noblegarden
- Love is in the Air
- Children’s Week
- Darkmoon Faire
- Day of the Dead
- Pirates’ Day
- Trial of Style
- selected special events
- selected micro-holidays
Holiday and Micro-Holiday Information
Active events can appear in the main window with their own icon and event information. Clicking an event entry opens an information window with a short description, relevant notes, event type and available tracking details.
This helps you notice active holidays, special events and micro-holidays without needing a separate calendar, guide note or website lookup for basic event context.
Map Pins and Blizzard Navigation
AEM adds event-related pins to the world map and uses Blizzard’s native waypoint/navigation system for routing. The goal is to stay close to the default game UI instead of replacing the entire navigation experience.
Where a fixed objective exists, AEM can guide you to it. For events that are based around hubs, activities, queues or temporary mechanics, AEM focuses on useful event locations and clear information instead of pretending that every event has a full objective chain.
Dungeon Elder Support
For Lunar Festival dungeon elders, AEM can optionally show dungeon elders and optionally include them in auto-routing. Since the addon does not route inside instances, dungeon elders are handled as entrance-only targets with additional information.
You can decide whether dungeon elders should appear in your lists and whether they should be included in automatic routing.
Built-in Debug and Test Tools
AEM includes internal debug and test tools for checking active events, tracking state, waypoints, targets and event data. Test Mode is disabled by default and is kept inside the debug settings so normal gameplay stays clean.
These tools are mainly useful during addon testing, troubleshooting and development.
What This Addon Can Replace
Depending on how you currently handle world events, Azeroth Event Manager can reduce the need for multiple separate addons or external tools, such as:
- standalone holiday checklist addons
- coordinate-only event notes
- separate waypoint helper setups
- manual map pin collections
- event reminder notes
- character-by-character event tracking spreadsheets
- separate micro-holiday reminders
- manual Wowhead tab switching for basic route information
AEM is not meant to replace full database websites, detailed guide websites or advanced route optimization tools. Its goal is to give you the practical event-tracking tools you need directly inside the game.
Designed for Retail Event Players
Azeroth Event Manager is built for players who regularly complete holiday objectives, collect event rewards, visit seasonal locations, run multiple characters or simply want a cleaner way to manage active world events.
The addon is especially useful if you want one central place for:
- active event visibility
- objective tracking
- map pins
- Blizzard waypoints
- faction-aware routing
- per-character completion
- holiday and micro-holiday information
Important Notes
Azeroth Event Manager is focused on World of Warcraft Retail.
Classic, Season of Discovery and old event data are not the target of this addon.
Some event features may depend on live event availability, Blizzard API behavior and current Retail event data. The addon is intended to be updated as Blizzard changes events, coordinates, quests or seasonal content.
Goal
One addon for Retail event tracking. Fewer separate tools. Less manual searching. More time completing the event.
