Weather

This addon aims to add a variety of immersive roleplay features relating to the weather, ambience, and environment.

Indoor Ambience

• Plays muffled, ambient weather sounds while you're indoors during active rain, snow, and sandstorms. Each weather has its own weather ambience sounds.

Weather Toy Accessories

• When rain starts, a popup will remind you to equip an umbrella / parasol (the models and icons are called umbrella, the ingame item is called parasol, I know parasols aren't great for rain, idk deal with it).
• Right-click the popup icon to select a specific tracked character-specific toy to use, or set it to "Random" to cycle through your available collection.
• An optional setting ensures that accessory reminders only appear when your character is actively flagged as "In Character" (IC) in TRP3.
• Choose from a variety of notification sounds (such as ship bells, alarm clocks, or standard UI toasts) to accompany your accessory reminders.

Movement Sounds

• Plays rushing wind effects if your character is in a free-fall for a prolonged period. (This effect cancels if you use slow-fall or begin gliding).
• Skyriding now includes layered wind audio that dynamically adds up based on your current flight speed.

Screen Effects

• Applies a subtle screen color overlay for rain, snow, and sandstorms, applying a cool blue tint, a frosty white, or a brown-ish tan texture layer on the screen.
• The opacity of the screen effect dynamically scales with the current intensity of the in-game weather and can be further adjusted in the settings.

Time of Day Icon

• A customizable minimap button that visually updates based on the current weather and time of day (Day/Night).

Weather Collector Almanac

• If the optional Weather_Collector module is enabled, the addon records the weather you observe as you travel through the game. Open the "Almanac" tab in the settings to view a breakdown of your recorded data.
