Never manually update your potion macros again. This addon automatically creates and maintains optimal flask and combat potion macros based on what's actually in your bags, with intelligent priority for quality tiers and fleeting variants.

What It Does

• Smart Macro Management: Creates two macros (ADPMFlask and ADPMPot) that automatically update to use your best available consumables
• Quality Priority: Automatically selects the highest quality version you own:
  Fleeting Gold → Fleeting Silver → Crafted Gold → Crafted Silver
• Fleeting Support: Fully supports fleeting variants from Alchemy cauldrons (Cauldron of Sin'dorei Flasks & Voidlight Potion Cauldron)
• Combat-Aware: Queues updates during combat and applies them immediately when you leave combat—no macro taint errors
• Throttled Updates: Intelligent 0.5s delay on bag changes prevents spam during mass looting

Supported Consumables

Midnight Expansion

Flasks (1-hour duration)

• Flask of the Blood Knights — Haste
• Flask of the Shattered Sun — Critical Strike
• Flask of the Magisters — Mastery
• Flask of Thalassian Resistance — Versatility

Combat Potions (30-second duration)

• Potion of Recklessness — Highest secondary stat boost (Best general DPS)
• Draught of Rampant Abandon — Primary stat + void zone mechanic
• Light's Potential — Primary stat (Safe, no downside)
• Potion of Zealotry — Stacking single-target holy damage
• Lightfused Mana Potion — Mana restoration (Healers)

How to Use

1. Drag the ADPMFlask and ADPMPot macros to your action bars
2. Open the options panel (Minimap button or type /adpm)
3. Select your preferred flask and potion types
4. The macros update automatically as you acquire better qualities or run out of consumables

• /adpm or /adpm config — Open options panel
• /adpm status — Show current macro status and inventory counts

Why This Addon?

Unlike static macros that break when you run out of a specific item quality, Auto DPS Pot Macro dynamically searches your bags using item link parsing to distinguish between Silver and Gold qualities (which share the same base item ID). It prioritizes fleeting cauldron versions when available, ensuring you never waste expensive crafted potions while guild cauldrons are active.

Technical Notes

• Uses item link parsing for exact quality detection (crucial for Midnight's crafting system)
• Deferred combat updates prevent "Interface action failed because of an AddOn" errors
• Lightweight: Only processes bag updates when necessary
• Compatible with all action bar addons
