ChestOpener automatically opens supported PvP reward chests and reward items in your bags in World of Warcraft.

No pointless clicking. You loot it, the addon opens it.

Supported Rewards

ChestOpener is made for PvP reward items such as:

• Contender's Strongbox rewards
• Field Medic's Hazard Payout
• Distinguishment rewards
• Older supported PvP reward variants

It is intentionally not meant to open vendor gear chests you may want to keep or mail to alts.

Commands

• /co manually triggers a scan
• /co on enables the addon
• /co off disables the addon

Custom Reward ItemIDs

Want to add more supported reward items yourself?

Just add the ItemID to the list in ChestOpener.lua.

Example

local DIRECT_ITEM_IDS = {
    [258534] = true, -- Illustrious Contender's Strongbox
    [224557] = true, -- Field Medic's Hazard Payout
    [123456] = true, -- Your custom reward item here
}

How to do it

• Find the ItemID on Wowhead
• Add a new line like [ITEMID] = true,
• Save the file
• Reload your UI with /reload
