Friendly Nameplate Markers for Arena, Battlegrounds & Open World

MatesMarkers adds clean, customizable markers to friendly player nameplates so you can instantly recognize your mates in arenas, battlegrounds and open world PvP.

It is built for players who want better teammate visibility without turning their UI into clutter. Whether you are playing Arena, Solo Shuffle, Battlegrounds, Rated Battlegrounds or world PvP, MatesMarkers helps you keep track of friendly players faster.

What it does

MatesMarkers places a visible marker on supported friendly nameplates. You can customize the marker style, size, position, class coloring and optional class/spec overlay icon.

The addon focuses on supported PvP and outdoor environments:

• Arenas / Solo Shuffle
• Arena Skirmishes
• Battlegrounds / Rated Battlegrounds
• Open World / Outdoor content

MatesMarkers does not try to modify unsupported PvE instance nameplates such as Mythic+, dungeons, raids, delves or scenarios.

Quick Setup

1. Install MatesMarkers.
2. Type /mm or /matesmarkers in chat.
3. Enable the zones where you want markers.
4. Choose your marker style in the Appearance tab.
5. Use Test Mode to preview the marker on your current target.

Compatibility

MatesMarkers works with Blizzard friendly nameplates and includes automatic support for Platynator when it is installed.

The addon is designed to stay lightweight and only refresh markers when needed, such as when nameplates appear, zones change, your group changes or settings are updated.
