Premade Group Board (PGB) — Lightweight premade group panel for Retail WoW

A lightweight standalone window built on Blizzard’s official premade group system: browse listings, create your own, filter results, and manage blocks — designed for long search sessions with minimal overhead.

Six highlights

1. Lightweight and low overhead

Standalone window; resizing and scrolling the list are kept lean, with no extra background load — better for long browsing sessions.

2. Sortable headers and show/hide columns

Browse and Manage lists have column headers. Left-click a header to sort (name, playstyle, item level, rating, roles, etc., depending on activity type). Right-click a header to show or hide columns and use Move left / Move right to reorder them.

3. Custom block notes

When blocking a leader or matching title, you can set a custom display note (enable Prompt for display note when blocking in Settings). Double-click a row in the block list to edit the note anytime. Preset block reasons are available, and matching titles can be handled together.

4. Does not force takeover of the default UI

PGB uses its own window and does not permanently replace Blizzard’s premade group UI. If Blizzard’s create-group page is already open, you’ll be prompted to close it or return to PGB to avoid conflicts. After closing PGB, the default UI works as usual.

Replace premade entry point in Settings only applies when you click the in-game premade entry (including the queue eye icon) — leave it unchecked to keep the default UI. When checked, clicking the eye with an active listing opens the Manage tab directly.

5. Backgrounds and display options

Multiple panel backgrounds (spec, quest log, dungeon finder, journeys, etc.) with adjustable color and opacity. Spec icons, role badges, row dividers, hover tooltips, apply behavior, and more can be customized. Left activity tree width is adjustable by dragging the divider.

6. Invite cap

Set a member cap in Settings: when the group reaches that size, auto-invite and manual invites stop — helps avoid over-inviting and listings being removed by the system (experimental; e.g. set 38 for a 40-player raid so the listing can stay up).

Main features

Browse groups

Left activity tree: season dungeons/raids, dungeons by expansion, delves, PvP, quests, custom categories, plus history for frequent searches.

Search and refresh; left-click headers to sort, right-click to show/hide and reorder columns.

Three apply modes (Settings): Sign Up button; click a row then choose role; double-click a row to apply with your role automatically.

Scrolling stays smooth even with many results.

Create and manage

On Manage, use the arrow on the left to open a drawer for creating or editing a listing. No active listing: drawer opens by default. Already listed: drawer stays collapsed; use the center area for applicants.

Create, edit, delist, and bump listings; review applicants; accept or decline; optional auto-accept when invited; optional auto-invite while listed.

Filters

Needs tank/healer/DPS, needs your class, minimum Mythic+ score, difficulty, playstyle, and more.

Match my role, hide declined, bloodlust, same class, hide 0-score leaders, listing age / min item level / honor, War Mode, same faction, hide voice chat, hide friend/guild groups — some options can be saved per activity type. Optional addon filter panel can replace in-game filter results.

Block list

View blocked leaders/titles in one place; double-click to edit notes; bulk remove. The block list tab can be disabled in Settings.

Quick start

1. Install, enable, then /reload
2. /pgb or /premadegroupboard, or click the minimap button (left-click toggle, right-click Settings)
3. Keybinding: ESC → Options → Game → Key Bindings → AddOns → find Toggle PGB and bind a key (not bound by default)
4. Optional: enable Replace premade entry point in Settings to open PGB from the in-game premade entry or queue eye icon
5. Pick an activity on the left → Browse to find groups, or Manage to list your own

Notes

• Retail only
• In combat-restricted content (Mythic+, delve boss fights, etc.), some features are unavailable — leave the instance or use Blizzard’s default UI
• Bump and auto-invite follow official rules and cooldowns
