WoW Advisor is a World of Warcraft addon that collects a snapshot of your character's in-game data and presents it in a copyable popup. Since Blizzard's public API doesn't expose things like your bag contents or bank items, the addon bridges that gap by reading it directly from the game client.
Data it collects on /wowadvisor:
- Character info (name, realm, class, spec, level, item level)
- Full bag inventory and bank contents (if you've visited the bank)
- Active world quests in your current zone
- Currencies, weekly vault progress, and current M+ affixes
- Secondary stats and mount collection count
You copy the output and paste it into the BakerRang WoW Advisor page (Press Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C to copy, then visit bakerrang.com > WoW Advisor and click 'Paste Addon Data'), where it gets stored in the AI's context alongside data fetched from the Blizzard API (your gear, M+ score, raid progress, reputations, talents, etc.). The AI can then answer questions about your character with full context — gear advice, inventory cleanup, tier set bonuses, and more.
