GearBorderColor recolors item icon borders, tooltip borders, and item names based on their upgrade track, covering every part of the game UI automatically.
Crafted items without an explicit upgrade track are detected and colored by item level. Legendary, Artifact, and Heirloom items are never recolored and retain their native Blizzard appearance. All colored elements automatically sync their opacity with the game's native dim states - bag search filter, held item fade, and locked item state.
