RaidBuffGrid — Priest Buffing Made Easy (Classic Era)

Lightweight priest buff assistant for WoW Classic Era. RaidBuffGrid shows a compact, class‑colored party/raid grid and lets you click‑cast Power Word: Fortitude and Divine Spirit (with optional Shadow Protection) at speed. It highlights who is missing which buff, tracks remaining time, dims out‑of‑range units, and includes smart tooltips and a minimap button for fast control.

Key Features

• Class‑colored grid with raid layout (up to 8 subgroup columns × 5 rows; party collapses to a single column).
• Click‑casting on unit buttons:
  • Left: Fortitude (single), Alt+Left: Prayer of Fortitude (group)
  • Right: Divine Spirit (single), Alt+Right: Prayer of Spirit (group)
  • Middle: Shadow Protection (single), Alt+Middle: Prayer of Shadow Protection (group)
  • Optional Shift+Left: target only (no cast) for manual control.
• Visual clarity: out‑of‑range dimming + pass icon, dead skull and offline overlays, compact color‑coded minute timer for the shortest remaining priest buff.
• Smart tooltips that update every second with actionable hints (needed spells, remaining time, zone/range status).
• Minimap button: Left toggles the grid, Shift+Left posts a missing‑buffs report, Right opens options, Middle toggles Shadow Protection support, Alt‑drag moves the icon.
• Efficient refresh: updates only while visible units exist; adjustable refresh rate.
• Reagent‑aware group buffs; clear status in tooltips.
• Localization: English (enUS) and German (deDE).

Options

Accessible via the minimap (Right‑click) or /rbg.

• Scale, Refresh Rate, Font Size, and Font Face
• Lock Grid and Debug Mode (placeholder boxes for empty slots)
• Shift+Left targets only (no cast)
• Consider Shadow Protection (enable/disable Shadow in visuals and reporting)

Slash Commands

• /rbg or /rgb: open options
• /rbg scale <0.5–3>: change grid scale
• /rbg rate <0.1–5>: set refresh interval (seconds)
• /rbg lock | /rbg unlock: toggle dragging
• /rbg debug: toggle placeholder boxes
• /rbg target | /rbg shift: toggle Shift+Left target‑only
• /rbg report | /rbg missing | /rbg export: post missing‑buffs report (RAID/PARTY when grouped; local when solo)

Compatibility

• Client: Classic Era only
• Secure‑template safe: binding/secure attribute changes are deferred outside combat
• Class gating: grid/minimap are hidden on non‑Priest characters

Installation

• Install via your addon manager or manual:
  • Place the RaidBuffGrid folder into .../World of Warcraft/_classic_era_/Interface/AddOns/
• Enable in the AddOns list, then /reload if updating
